Every year, on the second Saturday of October, Community center “Prosveta – 1927”, with the assistance of the local authorities and the Club of pensoners - Chiflik, organizes the Potato Festival in the village of Chiflik. The temple holiday of the monastery is on15th of August, when the Orthodox Church honors the Assumption of St. Virgin Mary. Traditionally, the liturgies n the monastery during this day are headed by the Bulgarian Patriarch.
